Recently, to meet the mass production requirements of high-precision products such as automotive electronics, industrial control precision components and high-end consumer electronics, our company has completed the comprehensive intelligent, digital and flexible upgrade of the entire SMT production line. It effectively solves the industry pain points of traditional production lines, including insufficient accuracy, poor stability, slow line change and high defect rate, realizing labor-saving, high-quality and high-efficiency intelligent upgrading of precision electronic mounting production.

 

The upgraded intelligent SMT line realizes full-process closed-loop production, including automatic board loading, high-precision solder paste printing, high-speed intelligent mounting, reflow soldering, SPI solder paste inspection, AOI visual re-inspection and automatic board unloading. Equipped with advanced industrial control systems and intelligent visual alignment technology, the production line achieves a stable printing accuracy of ±25μm and a process capability of Cpk≥2. It supports the processing of 0.2–6mm thin and thick boards, extra-large and micro PCB boards, and is fully compatible with the high-speed mounting of precision chips, micro resistors and capacitors, LED components and other tiny materials, meeting the strict production standards of high-end precision electronics.

Compared with traditional production lines, this upgrade delivers multiple technological breakthroughs. Equipped with a brand-new coaxial vision system and professional optical filters, the equipment effectively filters stray light and reflection interference, greatly improving the recognition accuracy of component pins and PCB pads, and reducing mounting offset, component dropping, solder voids and other defects from the source. Meanwhile, fully matched original precision spare parts including nozzles, steel balls and rubber O-rings avoid equipment stuttering, air leakage and accuracy drift caused by aging and worn parts, ensuring long-term stable operation of the production line.

 

In terms of production mode, the production line adopts a modular flexible architecture, supporting rapid line switching and efficient production scheduling. It flexibly adapts to multi-variety, small-batch customized orders and large-scale mass production scenarios, greatly improving production line utilization. Relying on a digital traceability system, it realizes real-time monitoring of equipment and production status, controllable quality risks, reduced production costs, and significantly improved production yield and delivery efficiency.
