In the modern visual management and tracing of manufacturing procedures, the management and control of product defects play a vital role. The negligence of any detail may bring about fatal damages. Similarly, in the SMT manufacturing procedures, how to judge the quality and service life of squeegee has been included in the scope of quality control by more and more enterprises.

Status of the Industry
1. Currently, most squeegee inspection instruments are of semi-auto model in this industry, and no inspection standard is available now.
2. The manual judgment of squeegee quality is inaccurate, thus leading to quality problems.
3. It is hard to find the causes in case of unusual printing quality.



1、 Overview of testing platform:
The scraper detection platform is defined as a calibration tool, not a calibration device. In order to better control the scraper, this tool was designed; Mainly aimed at detecting the deformation or missing amount (gap) of the scraper holder and blade, there is currently no better way to detect the scraper holder and blade. The marble platform is of level 00 (≤ 0.005mm error) and has an inspection report issued by a calibration agency, but the accuracy of the entire set of tools cannot reach 0.01mm or higher at present, improving the printing quality.
2、 Testing platform usage:
Simulate the printing machine scraper lifting system, apply a certain amount of pressure (pressure gauge reading 2kg-5kg) after the scraper blade contacts the marble platform, manually detect whether the contact surface of the scraper blade is leaking light, and then determine whether the scraper frame (scraper blade) is significantly deformed or chipped.

Operation Steps: 

  1. Place the platform on a flat terrain and adjust the level. A 220V socket needs to be installed nearby.
  2. Connect the platform plug to the 220V socket, turn on the 24V lamp switch and the platform backlight will be on.

Confirmation before using(on the first time)                         
Turn on the power of the digital push&pull tester, and the instrument enters the normal working state; confirm the push&pull tester unit (N.IBF, KGF); hang the squeegee blade to be tested on the test frame, and then slowly shake the handle to make the blade just match The marble surface is in contact; the value on the LCD screen of the push&pull tester should be zero at this time, if it is not correct, please press [Zero] on the push-pull meter.

Install the squeegee blade, confirm that the thrust count value is zero, shake the handle and press down 2-4KGF, and look at the contact surface between the blade edge and the marble to see if there is light transmission or measure with a plug gauge (0.03mm).
